After being discharged from the hospital, the first step is to visit a prosthetic center to get recommendations from prosthetists on residual limb preparation. They know which exercises and manipulations are necessary, as they will be making your prosthesis. You will also receive a medical-technical report, which allows you to start the process of obtaining disability documents (IPRA).
